Terms of Use

These terms cover the Ridgewood YMCA Breakers mobile app and the rybreakers.com website (together, “Breakers Training”), operated by the Ridgewood YMCA Breakers swim team community. By using the app or the site you agree to these terms.

Registration, billing, meet commitments, and entries are handled by GoMotion / Team Unify under their own terms. Breakers Training links to GoMotion but does not process payments or registrations.

Coach, admin, and parent accounts are approved by team staff, and what each account can see is limited by its role: staff see staff tools, and parents see only swimmers linked to their own family. Keep your sign-in credentials private and tell us right away if you think your account has been used by someone else.

Swimmer features do not require an account. Installing the app does not by itself grant access to any private team data.

We may suspend or remove access to protect swimmers, staff, or the service — for example if an account is used to attempt to reach another family's information.

Use Breakers Training only for its purpose: following the team, supporting your swimmer, and (for staff) running the team. Don't attempt to access data that isn't yours, probe or overload the service, scrape private content, or misuse anyone's personal information found through the app.

Practice feedback should be honest and appropriate; it goes to the coaching staff only.

Schedules, meet information, standards, and training content are provided for convenience and can change at any time. The team works to keep them accurate, but official registration records and meet entries live in GoMotion, and published practice plans control the swimmer and parent view.

Training and recovery content in the app is general athletic guidance, not medical advice. Ask a coach before trying new exercises, and consult a health professional for medical questions.

Breakers branding, logos, and app content belong to the team or their respective owners. Don't reuse them outside the team without permission.

How we handle personal information — including accounts, photos, and workout data — is described in the Privacy Policy.

Breakers Training is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the team and its volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app or site.

We may update these terms as the app evolves; the date below reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
